John the Blacksmith.
John trained as a blacksmith in the busy bourough of Putney. A world away from that now he burns a small charcoal fire inside a wooden shack in a remote woods in West wales.Taking his time making works of incredible delicacy from odd bits of metal, tools so sharp you cannot see the point, and houses complete with all the gubbings from windows and doors to hinges and stoves John can do it all.This year he hopes to complete his workshop in the woods and then teach short courses in traditional blacksmithing.
