These courses will be run by John the blacksmith the woodland smithy, a skilled artist and craftsman. The course starts at the beginning, students first learn the art of charcoal making. Hidden away deep in the woods, gathered around a small charcoal fire you will be shown the basics of traditional forge work. Under John’s expert guidance you will turn old bits of iron in to brand new super sharp tools, handy hinges and many more things.
